Investigation of illegal drug distribution in Kemper Co. leads to multiple felony arrests

While investigating the distribution of illegal narcotics in Kemper County, the Kemper County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, were able to make multiple felony arrests in Kemper County.

A traffic stop initiated by the Kemper County Sheriff’s Department led to the arrest of Orlando Bourrage, on the felony charge of trafficking marijuana. Investigators were able to obtain enough evidence to request search warrants for Orlando Bourrage and Montrael Burrage residents.
Which led to the arrest of Orlando Bourrage, and Orlando Bourrage Jr., who were charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of ecstasy. In addition, Kavavean Ray was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and Montrael Burrage was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime in Kemper County.
