Junior Auxiliary of Meridian taking mini grant applications for educators

Updated: Aug 28, 2020

The Junior Auxiliary of Meridian nonprofit organization is now taking applications for their annual mini grants for educators. Profits are used for projects teachers may desire for their classrooms.

These grants are sponsored by their sponsorship drives. Last year, the organization awarded over $13,000 in grants.

“What we’re looking for in these grants are innovative and creative methods of construction to improve the education of students,” says Grants Chairperson Brandi Pickett. “Also different forms of instruction that may go across the curriculum and also incorporate into their regular curriculum. There’s only so much that teachers will be able to use in their classrooms and many teachers use their own funds so this is a great way to give back to those teachers.”

$250-$1,000 are given per grant. The application deadline is September 28th. To access the application, visit here.
