Lamar School Will Announce Phase 2 Of Its Return To School Plan This Month

In Lauderdale County, the Lamar School has announced phase 1 of its re-entry plan, for students and staff’s return to school on August 10.
Some of the changes that will be implemented to ensure a safe on campus return are all faculty and staff will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before entering buildings, parents and visitors will not be allowed past the school office, and the use of masks will be used when needed for class transitions.

For parents who are not comfortable with their students returning to learn on campus, there will be a virtual-only learning option available.
