Lauderdale County man convicted of double homicide

Lauderdale Co., Miss. - District Attorney Kassie Coleman has announced that 31-year old Jason Clayton, was convicted of two counts of murder in Lauderdale County courtroom. Clayton will serve two consecutive life sentences to run concurrently for the murders of 35-year old Lonnie Lyles and 26-year old Delbrico Rigsby, back in December of 2016 in Collinsville.

Coleman said in a statement, impart, “I pray these convictions will bring closure to the victims’ families”
