Meridian, MS - Lauderdale County School District hosted their first meeting for their 2023 strategic plan.
Over the past years, the district achieved about 93% of the goals set in the 2019 strategic plan.
The 2023 strategy will build on the successes of the previous one while setting new goals.
“Now we’re looking to the future to see what we need to do to rearrange our goals, make sure we’re on the right path, and to have the stakeholders involved moving forward is just an important to make sure that we’re doing everything we can in our schools to meet the community needs.” says Superintendent Dr. John Mark - Cain.
As part of the process, the school district says a survey will be made available to the public and follow-up meetings will be held.
The school district’s goal is to have the new plan approved by the end of this year.
