Meridian, MS - The Lauderdale County School District seeks approval in a public referendum on October 3rd, of a bond for its Career and Technical Education Center.
A special election will ask voters to decide on whether to approve the funding.
According to Lauderdale County Circuit Clerk, everyone living in the county can vote, except those few who live in the separate school district. No one in the city can vote except those mostly around Eagle Pointe, Briarwood, and east of the Bonita area.
Absentee ballots are available now for voters for the special school bond election on October 3rd.
