Lauderdale County Sheriff's Dept. arrests suspect in Sept. 24 incident in the Martin community

A suspect wanted by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department is behind bars tonight. 31-year-old Terence Desmond Brown turned himself in to the authorities this afternoon, after the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department issued a warrant for him.

Brown was wanted for an alleged assault incident that occurred in the Martin community on September 24. Brown has been charged with kidnapping, sexual battery and two burglaries. He is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center with bonds totaling up to $240,000.
