Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department announces DUI Checkpoints

Lauderdale County residents may notice more Officers in the streets than normal in the upcoming days as the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office announced its plan to conduct sobriety checkpoints throughout the county resuming December 7th.

The Department said the DUI checkpoints are to identify and removed impaired drivers from the roadways.

December 7, 2022, between 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. - Highway 39 north @ Daleville Grocery

December 7, 2022, between 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. - York @ Kewanee

December 18, 2022, between 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. - Wilkerson Loop @ Highway 19

December 21, 2022, between 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. - Causeyville @ Rossi Smith Road

December 30, 2022, between 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. - Ponta Hills @ Chapel
