LCSD Announced Its Official "Return To Learn" Plan

Today in Lauderdale County, the Lauderdale County School District announced its official “Return To Learn” plan.

The plan presents two possible scenarios for reopening schools, a traditional schedule that requires students to be physically present in school with scheduling modifications that adhere to the CDC and Mississippi State Department of Health recommendations.
Another option is the blended schedule, where instruction will be provided online, using a digital platform to receive and submit classroom assignments, requiring students to periodically report to campus for scheduled assessments.
As of now, the plan states that the first day of school will be August 5 for students whose last name begins with A-K, and August 6 for students whose last name begins with L-Z. For more information on the Lauderdale County School Districts Official “Return To Learn” plan head to
