Meridian, Miss. - At first glance, a costume may seem like something people wear to celebrate Halloween. But the Leadership Lauderdale class of 2021 knows that for the kids at The Wesley House Child Advocacy Center, it means so much more.

The Leadership Lauderdale class is hosted every year by The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation. The main goal of the program is to provide participants a chance to understand and serve their community through networking and fellowship. This year class has collected more than 75 superhero costumes and along with a monetary donation of $1800 to update the “Superhero Room at the Wesley House.
