Local Meridian woman celebrates 100th birthday with a drive-by parade

On Saturday, one local Meridian woman celebrated her 100th birthday with a drive-by parade.
Friends and family members drove by the front of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church to wish Ms. Zeder Quinn-Lee a happy birthday, helping her celebrate the milestone.
A COVID-19 survivor, Quinn-Lee is Mississippi native from Jefferson County, and a retired Meridian school teacher. She shared that she was glad to be able to celebrate her 100th birthday with loved ones.

“Oh, I feel good about it, I guess the secret was, --I remember when I was converting, it was on a Thursday night, and then was baptized on Sunday morning. Ever since then, I’ve been trying to do as the savior wants me to do, been trying to live as a Christian,” said Zeder Quinn-Lee.
Ms. Zeder Quinn-Lee has 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren , and 2 great-great grandchildren.
