Bridge Builders’ goal is to uplift the community, focusing on teachers, special needs children, and senior citizens. This morning, the organization presented staff members with fresh red roses and snacks. They were able to receive their gift along with a personal thanks from the Director of Bridge Builders, Ward 2 Councilman Dwayne Davis.

“We just showing our appreciation to Magnolia Middle school, and showing them our appreciation –how of the online and the teaching they doing with the kids during this pandemic. Right now, --right now, this is a trying time for everyone, but these teachers have toughened it out and they’re staying in there and that’s one of the things we need to show appreciation throughout the year,” said Councilman Dwayne Davis.

“To have someone come up and show appreciation for all the hard work they’ve done, that’s from the teachers, to the custodians, to the cafeteria workers, it was amazing. They were really excited about it and we appreciate that,” said Sherrod Miller, Asst. Principal at Magnolia Middle School.

This is just one of the Bridge Builders ongoing community outreach efforts, to thank staff members at local schools.
