Locals of Meridian celebrate National Cheeseburger Day.

Meridian, MS - Man oh Man, something about a cheeseburger just gets my mouth watering.

The combination of a juicy beef patty, smothered in melted cheese and a buttered bun.

“The way the cheese melts, the way the pickles, ketchup, tomato, mayonnaise.. everything just fits on the burger. It tastes just so good," says local Brittney Murphy.

Today, Restaurants everywhere are celebrating the national cheeseburger day with beefy deals.

All day long, fast food chains like McDonald’s and Wendy’s are giving their customers cheeseburgers for less than a dollar.
