Meridian MS - Today is the start of the U.S. 11 Antique Alley Yard Sale, a great way for residents like Mary Phillips to interact with the community. “I just love meeting new people, and I love entertaining and getting things that their looking for.”
The yard sale stretches for more than 500 miles from Meridian, Mississippi to Bristol Virginia. Bea Lee from Wiggins MS is happy to make her first stop in the Queen city. “It was a good time to take a little trip away from home.”
Vendor Sylvia Ray always enjoys the yard sale. “We’ve been doing this here for about 10 years, to make a little money, get rid of some stuff we’ve collected over the years, and meet people.”
