Man turns himself in following fatal shooting.

Meridian, MS - Meridian Police are still investigating following a fatal shooting.

According to Detective Chanetta Stevens, at approximately 1:00 a.m. 29-year-old Ladarius Armstrong was shot and killed at Exxon at 325 Highway 19 North.

46-Year-old Tommie Reed Jr. turned himself in after the shooting occurred.

Detective Stevens said Reed was involved in a physical altercation with Armstrong before the shooting.

Reed has been charged with possession of firearm by a felon. His bond is set at $50,000.
