Meridian, MS - Meridian Police have provided an update in the fatal shooting that claimed the life of 29-year-old Ladarius Armstrong.
46-Year-old Tommie Reed Jr. has been charged with manslaughter for the death of Armstrong.
According to Detective Chanetta Stevens, on August 29th, at approximately 1:00 a.m. Ladarius Armstrong was shot and killed at Exxon at 325 Highway 19 North. Tommie Reed Jr. turned himself in after the shooting occurred.
Detective Stevens said Reed was involved in a physical altercation with Armstrong before the shooting.
Reed’s bond has been set at $850,000.
