Many events happening over the weekend in Meridian.

Meridian, MS - The City of Meridian has many events planned over the weekend.

The Stronger Together Foundation is hosting their second annual awareness rally. The goal is to bring awareness to veteran suicide and offer support to families affected. There will be a 5k race, live music, food, and other activities for the family.

The LoveNOW Community Church will also host a “Free for All” community giveaway. The giveaway is part of the church’s community outreach programs. Breakfast will be served to those in attendance at the giveaway.

The 5k will be from 8 - noon on Meridian City Hall Lawn, and the Free for All will be from 8-11 a.m. at Dumont Plaza
