Marion Bridge repair planned for next week.

Marion, MS - Improvements to the Dale Drive bridge in the town of Marion are expected to start soon.

Marion Mayor Larry Gill says the construction crew has the materials they need, and plan to start working on the bridge next Wednesday. Detour routes signage is also planned to be put out next week.

“They plan on putting signage out on Tuesday showing detour routes, and we also have a copy of the detour routes here at town hall, to start construction on the bridge Wednesday tearing it out, and to move forward for the next 90-working days to complete the bridge.” says Mayor Larry Gill

The mayor says they hope to have the bridge completed by the end of the year.
