MAX Museum set to host "One Mississippi."

Meridian, MS - The MAX Museum in Meridian is preparing for a special event next week.

The Museum is inviting the community to experience the magic of “One Mississippi”. The “One Mississippi” Song; written by Singer/songwriter Steve Azar in 2016, was the first recording ever in the Governor’s Studio at the MAX. It is also a new book by author Sarah Frances Hardy.

Event goers will have a chance to understand the meaning of the lyrics and illustrations behind the song and new book and purchase an autographed copy.

“Because this is our state song, it's going to bring attention to us celebrating all together in one spot.” says Marketing Coordinator Gabby Ortiz.

The free event is scheduled for Thursday, August 24th at 6:00PM
