Mayor of Quitman Asks Local Businesses To Require Masks

In Quitman, Mayor Eddie Fulton sent out a request on July 2, to all business owners in Quitman, asking them to require employees and customers to wear masks, hoping to further prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Local businesses were sent letters of the request, and it was also posted on the town’s Facebook page. The request asks that businesses post a notice at their entrance, requesting masks to be worn for entrance, and it was stated that officers would deliver masks for businesses to use, to assist with this request.
