In Neshoba County, the Tribal Supreme Court of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians has announced the extension of an emergency order issued in March.

Continuing to suspend temporary operations of all Choctaw Tribal Courts, except for certain emergency actions, the extension is expected to expire on Monday, July 6.
Today, a new executive order was issued by Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben, requiring for face coverings to be worn by all people over the age of 2 when interacting in public places on tribal lands. All face coverings must cover the mouth and nose.
