On Friday in Neshoba County, the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians has welcomed the Indian Health Service Nashville area Director Dr. Beverly Cotton and her team, including a Critical Response Team, that will work over the course of 10-days at the Choctaw Health Center.
The four-member critical response team consists of nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals who have worked in COVID-19 hot zones such as New York City and Atlanta.

The Choctaw Health Center Team and the Indian Health Service Critical Response Team will work together to curb the impact of COVID in the communities of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
