MCC Lends a Helping Hand to the Community

One college in the city of meridian went above and beyond today to help out in the community.

Today the Meridian Community College celebrated My college cares and went to varies locations in the community like the salvation army the children’s museum and the freedom project to volunteer and lend a hand, out in the community.
Annie Malone, student said, “we are doing my college cares and we are out here helping and giving back and coming out in the community.”
The students of MCC dispersed throughout the city to other locations to volunteer at places such as Meridian Housing Authority, Oakland Heights Elementary and Love Peas Garden.
A salvation army worker expresses her gratitude to have to students of MCC helping out.
“ It is so wonderful to have help and it is so needed because we have so many donations coming in."
An instructor at MCC explain why she chose the Freedom Project as the destination for her class to volunteer at.
“ I decided we were gong to do meridian freedom project because i know the benefits of how they help with our community and everything like that.I think it’s an asset to our community." said Instructor Christina.
Other students of MCC feels good knowing that they are making a difference in their community.
“It makes me feel good and want to volunteer to help kids as well. said Powe.
“It makes me feel good for sure knowing that i can help other people. stated Morgan.
