Merdian Police Welcomes Two New Officers.

Meridian, MS - Two new officers have been welcomed by the Meridian Police Department: Officers Chameria Washington and Camden Murphy.

Both officers graduated last week from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers’ Training Academy and share a long-time interest in law enforcement.

They spent their first days on the job learning strategies, rules, and regulations.

Washington and Murphy are expected to be outside for their first day on patrol duty.
