Meridian, MS - The Meridian and Lauderdale County Public Library hosted its 3rd annual Fall Festival today.
Kids from all over the country showed up ready to have some fun at the library.
M/LCPL Program Coordinator, Elizabeth Jolly, explains what the festival was all about.
“This is an opportunity for the community to come out and get to know what your library offers. We have local vendors here that have artisans and crafts and goodies. We have food trucks here, we have Red Hot, D & T Grill and SnoBiz as well. Face painting, pumpkin painting, we have things for all ages going on.”
Kids were playing corn hole, shooting free throws, and eating a lot of prize candy.
“It’s really nice to see families coming out together with their children and just doing life. Learning about different programs available to help them and having fun at the same time," says vendor Sara Smith.
