This was the first school show for K-5th graders since the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are excited to have children from all over the area coming today and as you can see on their faces, they're excited to be here”, said Terry Dale Curse, Associate Vice President of MSU-Meridian.

The Phil Hardin Foundation partnered with the Riley Center to provide funds to cover the ticket costs for 1,200 students. Ticket sales totaled more than $7,000 with the cost of the tickets being $6 per child.

“It’s an educational production”, said Lloyd Gray, Executive Director of the Phil Hardin Foundation. “It's also a fun musical production that helps kids to grasp something and learn something while they're having fun.”
