Kids had the chance to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Meridian Lauderdale County Public Library with a lucky leprechaun and an Easter bunny.

Mia’s Cafe also helped children celebrate with a St. Patrick’s Day-themed cookie they were able to paint themselves.
“There have been about twenty or so kids that have come in today which has been outstanding and I’m really happy. I get to share my talent with them, and they get to share their art with me”, said Kasey Molander, owner of Kacey’s Cookie Shop. “They can’t wait to eat it. Sometimes they just jump straight to the M&M’s and just eat.”
Kasey Molander has been creating self-paint cookies for two years.
