Meridian High Football Coach Marcus Boyles resigns.

Meridian, MS - The head football coach for Meridian High School has resigned.

The resignation came during a special meeting of the Meridian Public School District Board today.

The board says their search for Marcus Boyles' replacement has started immediately.

The hope is to have a new head coach in place by the spring.
