Meridian man Arrested on Multiple Drug charges

A Meridian man was arrested on eleven drug charges Wednesday.

Willie Bernard Lewis, 35 was taken into custody by Lauderdale County’s SWAT team and East Mississippi drug task force.

Lewis was arrested at his home on the 1800 block of 26th Ave.

The charges include possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and other controlled substances.

Lewis had already been out on bond for previous felony drug charges back in November of 2020. His bond was denied on all charges
