Meridian Police Dept. arrests three suspects on child pornography charges

In Meridian, the police department arresting three suspects on several child pornography charges.

Loretta Allen Bennett, Millian Dean, and Eddie Gray Holt have been charged with one count of child pornography receiving with intent to distribute, possession of, and receiving.

Holt and Bennett are both well-known in the Meridian Community.

Holt ran for district 2 justice court judge of Lauderdale County in 2011 and 2015, and Bennett ran for Lauderdale County district 2 supervisor in 2019.

Investigators told Twin States News that this case was initially brought to their attention in September 2020.

Bennett and Holt are currently out on bond, and Dean is being held in the Kemper County Detention Facility.
