Meridian, MS - The Meridian Police department have made an arrest for Monday night’s shooting that injured a mother and her small child.
31-Year-old Jaeshia Avery has been arrested.
Avery is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Avery’s bond is set at $250,000 for each count.
The Meridian Police Department thanks the community for its assistance in Avery's apprehension.
