Meridian Police Seeking Information

On Thursday night another shooting occurred just a minute away from where the recent Exxon double homicide happened.

Police say a vehicle was at a stop sign on 1st street and highway-19 when two other vehicles opened fire.

The driver was startled and, in an attempt, to flee, the individual struck a fire hydrant and also ran into the side of the local business, Meridian Cycle.

There were no injuries reported. Two vehicles in the Meridian Cycle lot were struck by bullets.
