Meridian Public School District has a New Arts Coordinator.

Meridian, MS - A Familiar face will serve as Meridian Public School District’s new Arts Coordinator.

Meridian High School's Director of Bands; Antonio Altman has been approved for the position and will continue to serve Meridian High School.

In his position, Altman looks to share his love of music and all arts with students of the School District.

His new role will support teachers in the classroom through arts integration and strengthen the district's partnerships with art agencies throughout the state.

Altman has been the Director of Bands at Meridian High School since 2013.
