Meridian, MS - The Meridian Housing Authority YouthBuild program continues to grow and offer certificates of completion about overall citizenship.
These young citizens of Meridian have completed their financial literacy course.
They have been in the program for 15 weeks learning about life skills that will help them create a better future for themselves.
One member of the group learned about the importance of credit.
"I just really feel like credit is the most important thing in the generation society today. It gets us a lot of things. We learned that all money ain't good money," says Precious Shively.
This group will move on to the next stage of Youthbuild, which includes helping build a house.
