The 52nd annual Trees of Christmas at Merrehope , and F.W. Williams historic homes, will be kicking off its annual holiday tours on Sunday, November 22.

This year, over thirty Christmas trees, featured in both historic homes, will be decorated by businesses and organizations in Lauderdale, Clarke And Jasper Counties. Social distancing will be enforced, and temperature checks will be performed on guests visiting for a tour. The proceeds from the tours are used to benefit the Meridian Restoration Foundation, a non-profit organization.
“It’s such a wonderful thing to have this house in Meridian. This is the last house standing that has the heritage in it, and we want everyone to help support it and its for a good cause and we want to keep Merrehope alive. So, we ask everyone to please come. It’s a beautiful time of year to celebrate it,” said Wilson Lovett, with Trees of Christmas at Merrehope.

This year , to thank all heath care workers for the efforts during the pandemic, there will be free admission to the Trees of Christmas at Merrehope tours for any health care worker presenting their facility badge.
