MHP Troop H to hold trunk-or-treat drive thru event

The Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H substation will be holding their 2nd annual trunk-or-treat event Thursday from 6pm to 8pm located at 910 Highway 11/80 in Meridian. The substation is holding the event a few days early due to Troopers being on patrol on Halloween night.

“It’ll be a little bit different. It will actually be a drive through. Kids will not have to get out of the vehicles," says Staff Sergeant Andy West of MHP Troop H. "We’ll have patrol cars set up with candy in them which you can actually drive by and the candy will be given out. We’re just trying to do what we can to give back to the community and especially back to the kids.”

Kids are welcome to dress up in their costumes and treats and refreshments will be available.
