Lately, there has been plenty of heated debates on the covid vaccine, especially with President Biden's new vaccine requirements. Some businesses are now placing vaccine mandates in place. Some Dr's here in Mississippi have formed a group and are taking a stand against the covid vaccine mandates that are being pushed and gives us details on why.

“The hospital that I work at has issued a vaccine mandate stating that we all have to be vaccinated by October 31st that we all get vaccinated or possibly lose our jobs, that’s really what got me started,” stated Dr. Witcher.
According to the CDC, there are only two rare serious types of side effects which are anaphylaxis and thrombosis, and that long-term side effects are rare.
Dr. Howard said, “We have seen antidotal cases of patients who have had unusual strokes, in patients who did not have typical risk factors, yet they are coming in with a stroke and the only thing that I am seeing that is correlating and what linking them all together is that they all took the vaccine a few months earlier."
With threats of possibly being reprimanded or even possibly losing their license by speaking out against the vaccine, the Dr's had this to say.
“We feel like it's a moral duty that we have to speak out,” said Dr. Witcher.
Dr. Howard said, "If I know what I know and I don't say anything just to hold on to my medical license. I don't deserve a medical license."
With the group Mississippi Against Vaccine Mandates, having all Dr's come together for a cause. What is the main goal?
Dr. Witcher stated, "I truly believe that's all we're really asking for here is for patients to know everything."
"It's their choice, and they shouldn't be under any duress or can or coercion to do it. That's basically what we're about," said Dr. Howard.
We reached out to the Mississippi Medical Association for a statement but we have not heard back.
