Mississippi State’s College of Business is now offering an online option for students who want to pursue a minor in business administration while studying degree programs in the university’s other colleges.
The business administration minor, normally only available on campus will launch online this fall.
“We get a lot of students who maybe didn’t necessarily major in business, but they may be perhaps see they are looking to go into administrative roles within their particular major,” says online learning assistance director Chris Pilgrim. “The business courses provide them with that background that will help them to advance in those type of roles or perhaps that they are interested in pursuing at some point-these particular courses that apart of this minor for non-business majors will give them that business exposure.”
The new minor requires students to take a minimum of seven courses or more.
