Mitchelle Distribution Donates $17,000 to Organization

A check for over $17,000 was presented at yesterday evening’s celebration by Mitchell Distribution to Folds of Honor as part of their Annual Contribution.

"Folds of Honor is an organization that provides Scholarships to families of the fallen and disabled Military and now we've also included First Responders in 2022, explained Rocky Sickmann, Folds of Honor Ambassador.

Budweiser has a longstanding partnership with Folds of Honor and over the years has donated around $ 18 million, which made around 3,600 Scholarships available for Military Dependents.

"We've got our whole company here because everybody chipped in to put on events and do things to raise money. We were able to raise almost $18,000 to give. And so we've got Folds of Honor and we got our company together and so we're excited to be able to make that donation to such a wonderful cause, especially with all the Military in Meridian and the Community," said Adam Mitchelle, CEO of Mitchelle Distribution.

Rocky Sickmann has been involved with Folds of Honor since 2007 and shares the main thing he wants people to know about the organization.

Sickmann said, "The main goal is to educate people that freedom is not free and our Military Men and Women make up 1% of our population that serves the War on Terror. Then, of course, all of our First Responders, there are probably 2,000 First Responders. We want to make sure that we honor their sacrifice, and educate their legacy. If anything happens to them and they don't come home, they know that Folds of Honor are going to be there and help support them along with Mitchell Distribution.
