MPD searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

Meridian, MS - Meridian Police are still searching for a suspect who robbed Paradise Food Mart located at 3408 20th Street yesterday evening.

At approximately 5:20 p.m. the suspect entered with a firearm, took an undisclosed amount of money, discharged the firearm, and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
