
Meridian, MS - Mississippi State University in Meridian has received more than $1 million for health care simulation. The Grant comes from the AccelerateMS’s Nursing and Allied Health Grant Program.
Funds will be used to construct a simulation space on the university’s evolving health sciences campus in Meridian. Preparing the way for future physician assistants, mental health providers and social workers, as well as supporting curriculum needs of the university.
The grant will be combined with the $4 million already given by the Riley Foundation to support simulation space needs for health care programs.
