MSU-Meridian announces its inaugural class for its new PA program

MSU-Meridian announced its inaugural class of the university’s new Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program.

This week, twenty students in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program reported to orientation at MSU-Meridian’s Riley Campus. In addition to Mississippi Natives, the inaugural class includes students from 6 other states across the US. The program at MSU-Meridian is the only publicly funded PA program in the state.
“I think it’s so special. I think it’s going to be something that’s going to be groundbreaking for our state, and for Meridian, our community. I think people are going to start coming from all around the county to come here and its just going to be such a special thing to build up,” said Katie Bruister, Meridian native, and student in MSU-Meridian’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program.
