Multiple illegal weapons and drugs seized by Meridian Police Dept.

The Meridian Police Department partnering with the U.S. Marshalls, was able to seize multiple illegal weapons and narcotics, when performing several safety check points yesterday evening.

Through the partnership they also executed several warrants, leading to a total of 10 felony arrests, along with multiple misdemeanor arrests.

According to Meridian Police Chief Chris Read, the additional evidence that was collected yesterday evening by the Meridian Police Department and the U.S. Marshalls, is in connection to current ongoing investigations.
