MUNA Federal Credit Union Treats Local Teachers To Snow Cones

Today, teachers with the Lauderdale County School District were treated to snow cones by MUNA Federal Credit Union.

Beginning this morning at 10am, teachers at Northeast Elementary were the first to line up and enjoy the surprise of snow cones from Kona Ice. The MUNA Federal Credit Union plans to treat teachers with the Lauderdale County School District, Meridian Public-School District, and local private school’s, thanking them for their efforts this school year.

“We’re just trying to say thank you to all the teachers in Lauderdale County for this year’s school. Its been a really tough summer and we know that it’s difficult for a lot of them to come back under these new circumstances, and with the modified program that they’re using and all, but we just want to show them how much we appreciate what they’re doing and that’s all, just to say thank you,” said Bo Pittman, CEO at MUNA Federal Credit Union.

MUNA Federal Credit Union will continue to deliver the sweet treats to teachers in the surrounding area through the next week.
