Magnolia Soap and Bath Company held its grand opening this morning.

Co-owner of the business Courtney Golden shared her excitement about the opening.

“Probably about a year ago or so we just kind of got a wild hair and wanted to start a new business. Something totally out of the box”, said Golden. “We love the products at Soap and Bath. They are all plant-based, all-natural, and made right here in this very store.”

Soaps in the store are made daily. Many of them can help with skin sensitivities and allergies. Shopper, Joy Towner is hoping that the soap can help her.

“I’m very excited, I bought two body butter”, said Towner. “One each for me and my husband and a candle. I’m really excited to use it; I have dry skin so hopefully it will help”

The store is not just a place to shop. The company will be providing a new activity for Meridian. You will be able to go inside the store and pour your own soaps and candles.

“One of the distinguishing features about Magnolia Soap and Bath is that we can be an event venue. We are an experienced-based company. This is a place we want people to use to celebrate and to enjoy themselves and we want you to take part in the experiences as well”, explained Courtney.
