Restart, Restore, Recover is the name of a new campaign being launched by East Mississippi Business Development Corporation, the city of Meridian and Lauderdale County.
The campaign is to help build confidence and strength as businesses begin to reopen and support business in the city of Meridian.
“It is us and our community trying to localize what’s going on across the country and what’s going on in our state," says EMBDC President Bill Hannah. "The country is reopening, that’s in quotes. The state is doing the same thing. We understand COVID-19 is not going to go away, but as people become more aware of it, and follow the guidelines, CDC and others; we feel like it's okay to get out and reopen the businesses that have been closed.”
Hannah also says they want to restart the local, help restore jobs and services and the quality of life.
