New Head Coach for Lady Trojans.

Meridian MS - The Lady Trojan’s of Northeast Lauderdale High School have a new head basketball coach.

Marcus Luckett has been named as the new head girls basketball coach.

Marcus comes from Laurel where he served the past year as an Assistant Principal.

“I’d like to say I’m a player’s coach. I love pretty much building my team up, building my players up, very receptive to their advice, give them that mental edge and that confidence to go out and play within themselves and with each other.” - Coach Marcus Luckett

Over his 18-year coaching experience, coach Luckett’s teams have made 7 appearances in the state tournament, five of those were back-to-back.
