New nail shop opens in Meridian

A new nail salon in Meridian made its debut with a ribbon cutting on Saturday at 11AM. Porchea Pack, owner of butter Fingaz officially opened the salon on Saturday after graduating from Magnolia College of Cosmetology, becoming a licensed nail technician a few years ago.

Pack began doing nails at the age of 15 and decided to turn the hobby into a career.

“This shop did not look anything like this. We knocked out walls, pulled up flooring and basically redid the suite,” says Pack. “I do feel like the business is growing and I feel it’s going to continue to grow. I’ve grown a lot over the years, I’ve learned a lot so I know how to conduct myself with my clients and I just want to provide the best experience with getting your nails done.”

The salon also includes sale items such as purses, jewelry and clothing. The salon is located at 4907 Westgate Hills Drive, Meridian, MS, 39301. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM to 7PM and Saturdays 9AM to 5PM.
