For those whose jobs have been impacted by the pandemic, the Alabama Career Center, and the Mississippi WIN Job Center both provide job search assistance, and job training, for those looking to further develop their skills.

Although, both Mississippi and Alabama’s job centers have closed their doors due to the

pandemic, those who are seeking assistance, are still able to access it by contacting your local WIN Job Center and Alabama Career Center.

One month into the pandemic, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey launched the website altogether.org, an online resource that not only provides information on the states response to the coronavirus crisis, but also serves as the state’s official guide to COVID-19 relief efforts, which includes resources for those who have been left unemployed during this time.

On both the Mississippi Department of Employment Security and the Alabama Department of Labor’s websites, you are able to locate the closest WIN Job Center and Alabama Career Center for unemployment resources.
