Meridian, MS - Meridian residents now have a new place to play at the Sammie Davidson Sports Complex.
New Pickleball courts are now available as the resurfacing of tennis courts has created a place for local pickleball enthusiasts.
Two of the sports complex’s six tennis courts were converted into four pickleball courts.
Pickleball combines the sport tennis, ping-pong and badminton, and has grown in popularity among Meridian residents, according to Meridian Parks and Recreation Director Thomas Adams.
All courts at the complex are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and close at 9PM.
